Gautham Pandiyan is a scientist-turned-software aficionado with a whole bundle of networking energy. He serves as the leader of partnerships and alliances at Windsor Circle as the Director of Strategic Alliances, helping to produce win-win partnerships across the industry.
Gautham was previously the VP of Sales & Marketing at Mi-Corporation, a mobile app software startup, helping build and energize partnerships with companies such as Microsoft, Intel, and Panasonic. He managed a channel of 90+ resellers worldwide, led the company to the Inc 5000, and received awards such as the 2015 Microsoft Government Partner of the Year. He has spoken extensively at industry events, seminars organized by the US Department of Commerce, and through 100+ webinars, and served in editorial and judging roles for mobility industry organizations.
Gautham also has considerable experience working with entrepreneurial small businesses through the Duke Office of Licensing and Ventures, a biotechnology startup company, EntoGenetics, and the Small Business Technology Development Center of NC. He has previously received grants from the Department of Defense, won the 2009 Duke Startup Challenge, and was on the Boards of the National Association for Graduate & Professional Students and the Duke University Trustees. He holds an alphabet soup of degrees, with a M.S. in Molecular Cancer Biology, a Master of Engineering Management degree from Duke University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Georgia.
He is a proud Double-Dukie (in a sea of Carolina Tar Heels fans at Windsor Circle!), enjoys Georgia football, latin dancing (was part of two dance performance groups), exploring Durham, learning random words in foreign languages (15+ and counting), reading about business, and attending the Annual Durham Pun contest! He also volunteers with CWS-RDU helping to resettle refugees from around the world into the Triangle.
