As Windsor Circle grows, so does the importance of team day - a day that is devoted to giving back to the community and team building. Once a quarter, Windsor Circle takes the day off to work on team building and volunteer for local organizations.
We've made a commitment to early childhood education and spent the day working with Book Harvest, putting together libraries for children, and Durham Partnerships for Children, assembling Blast Off to Kindergarten; kits that assist in transitioning from Pre-K to Kindergarten.
As our team grows, it's important to equip all employees with the tools they need to succeed. From taking Myer's Briggs to get a better idea of our makeup, to seminars on things like how to have hard conversations, we are working to create the best and most cohesive team possible.
While volunteering and examining the science of teams is extremely important, we also understand the value in getting to relax, kickback (with a cold brew), and getting to know fellow colleagues in a more low-key environment. Every team day we set aside time to get together as a group, beyond the volunteering and seminars, to just enjoy each others company. Some call this Funishment (a mashup of Fun and Punishment), but at the end of the day getting to know your colleagues is essential to bringing you're A-game to the Center of the Retention Automation Universe.
