This session will delve into the results of an annual survey about what consumers want out of their online shopping experience. Trends include lacks of satisfaction with ability to reroute a shipment and the ease of the return process, as well cart abandonment due to long delivery times. The speakers will offer guidance on how to respond to this feedback and make changes that could encourage more shoppers to purchase from online retailers.
This session will explore which retailers are winning and losing with personalization based on a recent study judging 100 retailers in four areas: capturing data, using data to drive email personalization, using data to drive media personalization, and website and cross-device personalization. The speakers showcase lessons learned from the best and worst performers, as well as offer advice for using data-driven personalization to drive customer acquisition.
