Durham, NC - June 06, 2011 - Windsor Circle, Inc. announced today that it has recently completed its Seed Round of $350,000, led by venture capital firm IDEA Fund Partners. Bruce Boehm, an independent venture capitalist formerly of U.S. Venture Partners, and Tom McMurray, previously a partner with Sequoia Capital joined IDEA Fund and friends and family in the investment. The funding will be used to support product development and sales efforts as Windsor Circle readies for the ”Early Access” release of its eCommerce Intelligence Software, grows its customer base and expands its network of integrations.
"This funding and the people behind it are great validation for Windsor Circle,” said Matt Williamson, co-founder and CEO of Windsor Circle. “Our investors took a calculated risk when investing in a pre-product, pre-revenue company. They recognize the promise of our new eCommerce technology and we are ready to deliver on that promise."
